The Netherlands delivers new EMA head office
On 15 November the Netherlands officially delivered the new headquarters for the European Medicines Agency (EMA). Minister Bruno Bruins (Medical Care and Sport) complimented everyone involved with this special achievement. Cancer research boosted by collaboration between science and industry
Researchers at Dutch universities can spend the coming years working with industry to realise new steps in the fight against cancer. Eight research groups have received funding so that scientists and companies can work together on technical innovations for the prevention, diagnosis and better treatment of cancer. Bedrijven, kennisinstellingen en overheid investeren samen 4,9 miljard in het missie-gedreven topsectoren en innovatiebeleid
Het poldermodel in topvorm. In de fabriekshal van het bedrijf Airborne plaatste staatssecretaris Mona Keijzer op 11 november 2019 de laatste handtekening onder het Kennis- en Innovatie Convenant. Bedrijven, kennisinstellingen zoals universiteiten, hogescholen en NWO, regio’s door heel Nederland en acht ministeries investeren gezamenlijk in 2020 4,9 miljard euro in kennis en innovatie. Daarvan komt 2,05 miljard van bedrijven en 2,85 miljard uit publieke middelen.
